Review: Diamond and Pearl are an aspiring comedy act. Following a consolation prize win, there is a mix-up that leads them to join a wealthy heiress who is climbing Mt. Coronet. Taking part in a family journey of self-discovery, she learns about Pokemon.

I don’t like it very much. Despite my best efforts, I could not get into this Pokémon Adventures.

As a reader, I found the story weak, with Diamond weak and dumb, Pearl quick-witted and charming, and Lady naïve and rich, but no one means.

The art is simple and does not require much effort. The comedy appears to be churned out in a hurry, and there are many poor running gags that are not worth repeating.

I found the plot to be very predictable. This story just dragged on and on. It happened nothing interesting. This is not an engaging story. It was a dragging plot, even though I liked the pokemon.

This book’s pacing is its biggest flaw. It was boring, and I wasn’t engaged. I had to push myself to pick up the book again and stay engaged, and I feel like certain sections were rushed while others dragged on... A great example of this is the battles. I don’t find the battles very engaging and they’re very rushed.

As a manga reader, this arc didn’t impress me. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to skip this manga. There is a possibility that this manga will work for your young child if you have one. I would not recommend this as an adult.
